Description:
Here is a good quality pair of English Georgian Regency style mahogany and burr walnut feather inland side tables, circa 1980, in excellent condition. The tables comprise a moulded top with burr walnut veneer to the centre, flanked by fine feather inlay, within mahogany cross banding. Below is a single working drawer, boasting classic regency style brass handles and escutcheons. The drawers are constructed with butt joints with mahogany linings. The tables are raised on tapering block legs. The tables would prove useful in either the bedroom as bedsides or living room, as side tables. The tables are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.

As they boast the original polish, they have a fantastic rich red-brown mahogany colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.

Condition Report:
These tables are in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and tops, but nothing significant considering the age of the items. The drawers boast the original drawer linings and classic regency style brass handles and escutcheons. The drawers are in good working order and close flush to the frame. The feather inlay is complete, with none missing. As the tables boast the original polish, it has a fantastic rich colour and patination. They are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
