Antique George II Four Door Dresser Base (Circa 1730)

SOLD

This is a very good quality and rare George II four drawer oak dresser base or serving table, 1730 probably originating from Montgomery, Wales, United Kingdom. All in all, this is a very beautiful piece of antique furniture. This dresser boasts four working drawers with a working key and original oak drawer linings. The Georgian brass swan neck handles are very old replacements. This section sits on a heavy freeze which is supported on four baluster legs to the front and two to the sides. The sides have raised cross-banded sides which mirrors the design of the drawer fronts. There is an original plate board back to the dresser.
